Finanzierung
In den letzten Wochen konnten wir weitere Finanzmittel sowohl aus Startup-Wettbewerben als auch von strategischen Investoren sichern. Anfang des Monats konnten wir die Phase III von Venture Kick gewinnen, was uns ein Wandeldarlehen in Höhe von CHF 150'000 sowie Zugang zu weiteren Finanzierungen in den kommenden Jahren über den Kickfund verschafft. Venture Kick ist einer der anerkanntesten Startup-Wettbewerbe in der Schweiz. Der Gewinn ist eine gute Bestätigung für unser Engagement und unterstreicht einmal mehr, dass wir bei Borobotics etwas wirklich Wertvolles schaffen.
Bohrköpfe
Die Bospi AG, ein Schweizer Hersteller von Bohrköpfen für Geothermiebohrungen, hat sich an Borobotics beteiligt. Bospi wird uns in den kommenden Monaten bei der Weiterentwicklung unseres Bohrkopfes unterstützen und uns bis 2025 mit Bohrköpfen in der Prototyping- und Pilotierungsphase beliefern. Natürlich ist der Bohrkopf eine der Kernkomponenten unseres Bohrroboters, weshalb wir froh sind, auf die Erfahrung von Bospi zurückgreifen zu können.
Motorstart
In Vorbereitung auf den ersten 20-Meter-Bohrtest haben wir letzte Woche die Motoren erfolgreich in das Gehäuse eingebaut. Der Einbau ist ein heikler Prozess, da die Motoren nicht verschraubt werden, sondern das Gehäuse so eng ist, dass es sie in Position hält. Um sie in die richtige Position zu bringen, muss das Gehäuse erwärmt werden, damit es sich ausdehnt und genug Platz lässt, damit die Motoren in ihre Position gleiten können. Die Motoren sind jetzt angeschlossen, laufen, und wir haben bereits erste Tests durchgeführt.

I read your comment on Borobotics’ September update about winning Venture Kick funding and how the team’s momentum carried them through prototype tests, and it reminded me of a really busy semester balancing project work and deadlines I even joked I might need someone to pay someone to complete my computer course just to carve out time for hands-on innovation like that; your enthusiasm really reflects how much progress matters to you all.
I really enjoyed your September update about hitting the kick on your project and how the team’s energy carried each test forward, which reminded me of a hectic semester when I balanced late nights in the lab with piles of data.
