We have invented a new method for geothermal drilling suitable for small spaces such as basements or densely populated areas. Our entire drilling mechanism is inside a 3 m by 13.5 cm tube that autonomously drills the borehole similar to how an earthworm would move through the ground. This drilling principle is not only very energy-efficient, but also controllable in its movement and trackable as it automatically creates a digital twin of the borehole on its way down. To develop our robot further we are now looking for your skills and enthusiasm!

Your responsibilities

  • Development and design of analog and digital circuits for our robotics system

  • Selection of suitable sensors, actuators, and components

  • Creation of circuit diagrams and PCB layouts using Altium

  • Hardware-related software development

  • Commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies

  • Collaboration on system certification

  • Collaboration with the mechanics and software departments on system integration

Your profile

  • 0 - 3 years of experience

  • Enthusiasm for electrical engineering

  • Experience in circuit design, embedded systems, and power electronics

  • Programming skills in C/C++ and Python

  • Control engineering

  • Desire for responsibility instead of routine

  • Tinkerer mindset and enjoyment of teamwork

  • Do you have a reasonable command of English? Great!
