Borobotics is developing a new generation of autonomous drilling technology for the use of geothermal energy - electric, compact and quiet. This enables us to drill wells even in densely populated areas and make an active contribution to the heat transition. We are currently building our prototypes, testing functions and driving forward series production - and we are now looking for your skills and enthusiasm!

Your responsibilities

Assembly of prototypes and functional samples

Setup, execution and logging of tests (e.g. drilling, laboratory or functional tests)

Planning and setup of test benches

Procurement or self-printing of 3D printed parts

Procurement of components (standard, catalog, production parts according to drawings and electronics)

Mechanical adaptation of existing parts (e.g. drilling, turning, milling, grinding)

Optional: Implementation of simple CAD designs and drawings in SolidWorks (according to specifications) e.g. drilling, turning, milling, grinding)

Your profile

Ideally: Completed apprenticeship as a polymechanic:in EFZ

Desire to work in an agile start-up environment with flat hierarchies

Excited by a product that can accelerate the heat transition

Independent and structured way of working

Enjoy tinkering, testing and tackling things in a team

Good, oral command of English

Also desirable:

Experience in prototype construction or in setting up test facilities or experience in assembly and commissioning

Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Interest in CAD design in SolidWorks (not a must, but a plus)
